Here's how you can run the free demo version of Umineko no Naku Koro ni (When Seagulls Cry).
This game contains all of Episode 1.

• Download the demo version of the game.
• Run the exe file to extract the files.
• Download the translation patch.
• Unpack the patch and move the unpacked folder into the demo folder.
• Run ONScripter_Windows.exe in the patch folder.

• Download the demo version of the game.
• The normal Archive Utility for Mac OSX does not extract the demo zip file correctly, so use a third party extraction tool such as The Unarchiver.
• Download the translation patch.
• Unpack the patch and move the unpacked folder into the demo folder (called 'umineko').
• Run ONScripter_MacOSX in the patch folder.
