"Umineko no Naku Koro ni" wasn't created by some big-name gaming company or major publisher - it's the result of several months of non-stop hard work by a very small team.

This team, 07th Expansion, makes its living off of fans who enjoy the games and want to support their creators. If nobody supported 07th Expansion by purchasing their works, they'd probably have to consider a career change just to keep food on the table, which would mean the end of series like this one.

It's all thanks to a supportive fanbase that the story has lasted as long as it has.

Although Umineko no Naku Koro ni has only been sold within Japan thus far, the creators have been gracious enough to let us bring their works directly to fans in America as well. It's still rare for "games" of this kind to be made available overseas, and we welcome this opportunity for fans of the genre outside of Japan to show their support for companies willing to take this step.
